Cancellation Policy
All those attending private or semi-private lessons must provide 24 hour notice prior to canceling a scheduled lesson, either via phone or email. Anyone not providing 24 hour notice may be charged for the entire amount of the lesson. Please note that we must pay our instructors for their time whether a student is present or not.

Video Recording Policy
Video recording of lessons or clinics with a StrikeZone instructor is strictly prohibited by any and all parties while in the facility, with the exception of StrikeZone personnel filming for video analysis as part of a lesson. We reserve the right to terminate lessons without refund of anyone videotaping or otherwise recording lessons at any time.

Private Lessons

The StrikeZone Academy offers private lessons on an appointment basis for $80 per hour, sold individually or in a recommended block of five hours, for a total of $400.

The five hour block is recommended because the instructors feel that at least five one hour lessons are required to have any impact on a player's performance and that only one or two hours would be an insufficient period of time to accomplish any significant progress. In addition, lessons which are not scheduled in blocks of 5 cannot be guaranteed a consistent day/time slot due to increased demand during the Winter months.

This is merely a recommendation and lessons can always be taken without a multi-week commintment.

Note that during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons, lessons are usually scheduled on a week-to-week basis without the need for a multi-session block, because of issues with game and practice schedules, vacations and other schedule-related issues.

Semi-Private Lessons Also Available
Semi-private instruction is a lower cost option and may be appropriate for younger kids who might not be able to handle an entire hour of one-on-one instruction. These are available at the following hourly rates:

2 Players - $60 per player
3 Players - $50 per player
4+ Players - $40.00 per player

We have an excellent staff of instructors, all of whom have college experience,. with many having played professionally as well. Private instruction also offers the ultimate in flexibility: you can customize your program and divide your lesson time between a variety of subjects including: hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and throwing.

We always strive to match your lesson goals with an instructor's specific strengths, experience and background. We make every effort to plan lessons according to your schedule.
